Description: Happy-go-lucky, upbeat and fun. Punk oriented with a strong American influence verging on Ska on some occasions. Short and snappy pop songs with clever and humorous lyrics about everyday life, girls and post-teenage ansgt. "Doodle ooh-doo we'll deal with it later/ we're using our textbooks as lavatory paper." Background: The BSI have been gigging together for a year and a half after forming two years ago. Came a highly respectable fourth in The Mill's Battle Of The Bands in 2004 and supported The Bluetones when they returned to The Mill this Summer. Released their debut unsigned album entitled 'It's ..The Baker Street Irregulars' on December 4 2004, amidst production confusion and is yet to be declared fully available other than online. Christmas 2004 saw front man and founding member Fil Hamilton surprisingly leave the band in search of pastures new. In his absence the staff of The BSI have regrouped and remoulded the band, taking it back into the practice room. Current

Currently causing ripples of anticipation as the band select their new
line-up. Those confirmed are mentioned in the members section above, also
rumoured are the additions of a keyboard player and a saxophonist. Exciting
