Location: Preston

Description: Messy yet refreshing sound, with immediate comparisons to Kings of Leon and The Yardbirds, and obvious influences from The Libertines and The Clash. Billy sings with an angry growl, best described as a modern, punk-like crooning.

Background: All four lads hail from Preston and most are currently undertaking college/university courses. The band started out two and a half years ago after certain members had met in college. The band last year changed their singer and promoted ex-bassist Billy to perform 'frontman' duties, since then the band has gone from strength to strength to dig their heels in as one of the city's hottest prospects.

Current Status: Currently gigging around Preston and intending to take their industry further afield to Sheffield and Manchester in the near future. The Clones recorded four of their favourite live tracks and all are online.

The band are currently experimenting with new songs and introducing new material into the live setlist which remains as loud, riotous and memorable as ever.
