Description: Refreshing Hip-hop influenced sound, blending any number of sounds and samples with honest, free-flowing lyrics to create a snappy and original sound that sees the American, Gangster rap culture burned down and reformed with a sprinkling of The Streets.

Furred Degree prefers to write from experience and about what's on his mind. Therefore, having not lived in 'the ghetto' or ever been held at gunpoint, the content of Mr Peplow's pop-rap songs are immaculately pure and easy to relate to everyday life.

Background: Born in Preston in 1983, Ged Peplow was dug up from his roots and re-potted in the South-East in the small town of Leighton Buzzard. At 18, Ged moved back to Preston to study at university. With the extra freedom provided by living away from home he began experimenting with music, creating a short but catchy set of rap tunes. From these early demos, the Furred Degree was born.

Current Status: Finished off a computing degree last May and unsure of his musical direction. Currently taking a lengthy break on the isle of Malta and still re-working and improving his original set of recordings, hoping to devote more time and effort to the music over the summer. He explains:

"At the moment I've got loads of lyrics and ideas but only about seven songs that are packaged and ready to go, hopefully I can double that in the near future and then really get going."
