Description: Trippy punk-funk trio with a hallucinogenic, addictive swagger that leaves you helplessly dancing throughout their live set. Self-proclaimed influences include The Crystal Method, Nylon Pylon and Chemical Brothers and modern comparisons include The Music, The Rapture and Radio 4.

Background: The KBC formed during the back end of 2003 after developing a friendship at school through a mutual respect and love for 70's funk and motown. Began touring Preston early in 2004 and have improved and developed rapidly over the last few months. Very quickly asserted themselves as one of the most respected bands around and are already calling out to Manchester and London.

Have recorded and produced two impressive demos and have a selection of MP3's available on their website.

Played a number of out of town gigs on the run up to Christmas 2004, including a very successful outing to London's Infinity nightclub before returning to Preston to headline New Years' Eve at The Mill.

Current Status: Continuing to gig around the North-West. Recently signed to High Voltage and rumours are rife about a forthcoming EP in April/ May time.
