Description: Mellow and experimental bedroom band. Easily comparable to Radiohead, Aphex Twin and, in places, The Cooper Temple Clause. Self-confessed influences include Radiohead's 'Kid A' ('The Bible' -Luke), old romantic gGothic music and classical modernist piano music. Yet to play live but working furiously on the prospect of a stage show.

Background: Luke is a studying English Literary studies at the University of Central Lancashire and amongst other things Dan Bamber is fluent in web design (check out Sound Noir.com) and, according to Luke, a wine connoisseur. Sound Noir developed from a three-piece punk band called Pearly, and are notorious for being perfectionists and taking ages to finish a song.

Current Status: Have started work on their new album after scrapping the idea of a 40- track 'masterpiece', and are hoping it should be ready around November, although in true Soundnoir style, it could be delayed at any time.
