Description: Uplifting and lively four piece who are pushing towards the mainstream with their brand of catchy 'hummable' pop. At times musically akin to Blur and even The Beatles, or at their more mellow a distinct Verve quality shines though.

Background: The band all have regular, everyday jobs, oh except Tony, that is, he is on the dole and drives a sports car! The Vinyls released EP 'Where The Boys Have Been' in 2002 and toured the North extensively and around London. The first EP can be heard on their website along with a selection of other unreleased songs

Current Status: Currently attracting record company interest for their new EP which takes the working title 'Sunday Sun' and includes four new tracks. Can be found often practising at The Mill rehearsal complex and are playing the venue early in June.

According to their website the band are also in the process of writing and recording more new material which will soon be available online.
