The Mill |
The club/venue is an old converted mill and was reopened in 2003 following a spell as 'The Marquee' back in 2002. Now under new management, it has started to attract the big names once again, with household names such as Marky Ramone, The Bluetones, Ash and The Damned and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club all appearing in the past few months. The Mill can be found
on Aqueduct Street between the Fylde Street and Brook Street junctions.

The
Mitre Tavern |
Regular live music including established local bands, young, up and coming acts and Tuesday night's Jam where anyone is invited to join the house musicians to show off their talents. The venue has weekly drinks promotions including a cheap doubles bar and 'Tequila Sunday', which is pretty self explanatory. Many gigs are free entry and flyers are usually visible around Preston to advertise the bigger shows. More information can be found at themitre.net |

The
Adelphi |
The Adelphi forms a central point of Preston's alternative music scene and is a firm favourite amongst performers and fans alike. The friendly atmosphere produced at the upstairs venue provides both a good starting point for new bands to perform and an ideal location for established bands to throw intimate smaller gigs. The Adelphi music venue has a 150 capacity and prices range from £1 - £3. |
