Listen Up to take summer siesta

Listen Up North West will be taking a break for the month of August, during this time there will hopefully be some major changes made and possibly a complete site redesign in time for the new academic year..

Firstly i'd like to thank everyone for the support shown over the past year, the site has come a really long way since it was a university project just over a year ago.

However, as the site is currently non-profit, it is proving costly to run and time consuming, so a re-think is needed. Any changes are unconfirmed as yet, but a re-launch with more bands and a more user-friendly interface is the aim, and will hopefully be ready by mid-september in time for the site's one year anniversary.

It's not over yet though, and there is still coverage to come of the Battle of the Bands final on July 22 and the Live In The Park gig in Avenham Park on July 23.
