Soundnoir begin recording long-awaited debut LP

Soundnoir - Recording finally underwaySound Noir have finally started recording their hotly anticipated debut album ‘Magnus Magnusson’. The 10-track album will include numerous ‘guests’ on some tracks and carries the theme ‘The death of the mind’.

Speaking to Listen Up, Luke Shepherd of Sound Noir explained:
“There’s loads of different sounds and lots of people working on this one. The theme is the death of the mind, the injection of lifestyle from the lovable box we all call the telly."

Previously Sound Noir were due to embark on a 40 –song recording called ‘The Warrens’ but the idea was scrapped due to complications, although Luke indicates the lost album may have some sort of influence on Magnus Magnusson:
“The Warrens idea will hopefully be implemented, with a continuous flow of tracks from start to finish and lots of mini-ditties.”

The album should not be expected too soon, as even Sound Noir themselves admit they do not exactly rush these things. In the meantime, the full track listing is as follows, including a few changes from the original track listing released earlier this month:
