Chris Scott - Giddy KipperChris Scott - Giddy Kipper EP

Tracklisting:
1. Beat Burn Bleed (Download sound clip: lo-fi - hi-fi)
2. I'd Rather Be A Slamon Than A Trout
3. Kenny's Song
4. Who's Got The Crack?

This new solo effort from Singer/Songwriter 'Chris Scott' kicks off with a heart-wrenchingly open anthem recorded acoustically and sung with immense passion. The tuneful soft-grunge structure of Beat Burn Bleed lends itself to represent the confusion between love and lust, necessity and desire.

Seductive and melodic

The track really takes shape with the introduction of a seductive and melodic guitar riff on 42 seconds, the ideal build up for the seething, almost bitter chorus.

'I feel your angel, devil breath/ subside deep within my soul/ consume the core of what i am/ swallow me whole and spit me out.'

Other tracks on the EP are not quite as deep and meaningful yet still musically entertaining and lively. I'd Rather Be A Salmon.. does exactly what it says on the tin and a welcome yet unpruned cover of the Mouldy Peaches' Who's Got The Crack? finishes the EP off in typical disorganised chaos.
