Treehouse 3 album on course for this summer

Treehouse 3 prepare to take on the doubtersEmotive Preston rockers, Treehouse 3, have confirmed they are back in the studio, and have enough new material to record a full album to follow 1999’s Starting Line EP.

The band have spent this year writing and recording, working with university students to find the sound for the new record, which should be ready this summer.

Refreshing

Singer/ Songwriter Seamus Mcloughlin told Listen Up:
“ We’ve set up our own studio and have started recording, there’s still a lot to do as we have got about three albums worth of new songs, which we need to whittle down to 10 or 11.

“It’s refreshing being able to go at our own pace now that we’re producing the album ourselves, but it’ll be nice to finally get another album out, it’s frustrating playing and talking about it when there’s no finished product.

New management

In the past Treehouse 3 have had trouble cracking the British market and have kept all their contacts in the United States to keep their options open. Drummer Mark Whiteside explains:
“ We‘ve already laid down five tracks at the university studios, which we will send to our new management in America over the coming weeks.”

“The United Kingdom is not a lost cause though,” adds Seamus “There’s a few people in Preston who are interested in backing the new album. You get knock backs in this business, you just can’t let them get you down."
