Clone arrested for malicious wielding of toy gun

The Clones- Billy (second from left) suffers at the hands of violent action moviesPreston indy band, The Clones, intensified their 'insane' reputation this week by attracting police attention by wielding a toy gun around the streets of Preston.

Billy Clone, one time bassist and now singer of the band, and others were followed by police as they mucked about aiming a toy gun out of the window of a mates car.

The singer spoke to Listen Up to clarify the bizarre events:
"We we're just messing about with a toy gun and apparently some old guy thought it was real and alerted the police.

"When we got to the Adelphi roundabout and noticed the police were following, they pulled us over and gave us a caution and a strict telling off.

"Personally, i blame Arnold Schwarzenegger and all the violent action movies I was subjected to as a kid."
