Honorary
North-West band, Haven, last night celebrated the release of their new
album 'All For A Reason' by performing a one-off acoustic set at The Mill
in Preston.
Attendance at the show was by 'invite only', the likes of which could
be obtained by buying the new Haven album at HMV or Action Records, and
saw them play a rare semi-acoustic set for around 200 onlookers, although
by all accounts the decibel levels and wattage slowly increased as the
show progressed.
Well-recieved The band
all stuck around after the show to chat to the crowd, and conveniently
enough Listen Up caught up with Haven guitaist Nat
Wason who said of the gig:
"It was really enjoyable,
we don't play this way often. The new songs were well recieved although
we had to throw some oldies in as well. "Its a
good venue, and the whole gig went well, although it was supposed to
be acoustic, it turned into more of an electric gig by the end."
