Wandering Step prepare to start all over again

Drummer Dave (right) suffered broken wrist in February ‘The Wandering Step’ are preparing to go back in to rehearsal rooms to set about re-launching their floundering music career.

The band shot to success in 2002, releasing a single and touring the country with other big names including The Kills and The Bandits, only for their world to be rocked in February this year as drummer Dave Chambers suffered a broken wrist whilst playing football.

Dave, once drummer of Preston band Cornershop, told Listen Up that his arm has almost recovered and should be ready to go within a few weeks:
“The cast came off a few weeks ago, before I went to America, so it’s been in a splint for a while, but its now its off I’ve just got to wait for the bone to strengthen.

“It shouldn’t be more than two weeks before we’re back in business, we’ve booked some time at The Mill practice rooms and can hopefully get recording again soon after that.”
