The Vinyls close in on record contract with new EP

Andy Harrison - The Vinyls The Vinyls are once again generating interest inside the record industry with the completion of their new four track EP.

The yet to be named white label disc, which has the working title ‘Sunday Sun’ includes tracks called ‘Two Good People’, ‘Sunday Sun’, ‘Goldmine’, and Wishbone’, and was recorded at Liverpool’s Parr Street studios, also responsible for recent albums from Coldplay and The Doves.

Attention

The EP has already attracted the attention of Richard Ashcroft’s management company Terra Firma, with whom The Vinyls are currently in talks, as well as Steve Tandy of Gut Records. Singer and songwriter Andy Harrison told Listen Up:
“I got a phone call the other day from this girl called Tracy at Terra Firma, and she said they were really interested in the band and arragned to come and see us.”

The Vinyls can be seen touring the new EP at The Mill of Saturday June 5 and will announce more live dates in the near future.
