Mill prepares for the London invasion

A host of Londons' most popular new punk bands ahve organised a set of gigs at Preston's biggest music venue, The MIll, on the to ensure the year ends with a bang.

The bands involved include The Others, Selfish C**t, The Rakes and Towers of London have all organised gigs in an attempt to raise the profile of Londons' rapidly expanding underground scene.

The Others were initially penned to play The Mill with Babyshambles back in June but pulled out, and have recently enjoyed a top 40 success with single Stan Bowles. Selfish C**t did play at the BAbyshamble gig. No comment, but it does have to be seen to be believed.

The Rakes have just set out on an 11 date UK tour to promote the release of their new single Strasbourg.

The dates the bands arrive at The Mill are as follows:-

The Rakes & The Paddingtons - Wednesday 24th November - £5 adv

Selfish C**T - Wednesday 1st December - £5 adv

Towers of London - Monday 6th December - £4 Adv
