| Star 27 spread some Christmas cheer |

The disciples of Star 27 were first summoned to the Flag Market to put on a brief acoustic show by the memorial which included such famous Christmas carols as Away In A Manger as well as original material including Find A Bridge and Bukowski's Secret. After a lacklustre showing by the flagmarket, the band moved towards the St George's shopping centre and on to Fishergate, where hundreds of interested passers by gathered below the christmas decorations and adults, children and young scallywags and vagabonds united in singing along in festive tradition. The band tend to do something special on the 27th of each month and were in jovial mood and high spirits, which helped to rake almost a pound sterling in donations, which the band promised would be donated to a charity of their choice.
