Step into christmas

The Wandering Step are back after six months in the shadows. The new look line up are getting into the festive spirit by giving local music fans the chance to hear them both live and on CD on the run up to Christmas.

The band were put out of action back in April when the drummer injured his arm and the lineup was changed, just as things were starting to look good with talks of a record deal with Deltasonic. Now, after extensive rehearsals and organisation, they are ready to go back on the road.

Free christmas CD

Firstly, to celebrate 'the yuletide season' the band are giving away a free one-track CD containing the song 'Christmas At My House'. All you have to do to obtain a copy of the CD is email giveusagift@wanderingstep.co.uk with 'Xmas CD' in the subject and include your name and address in the message and the band will make sure you recieve your christmas CD within two weeks.

New live dates

The band have also organised some high profile live dates including performances with The Paddingtons, a Hull band who are becoming ever more popular within the new London scene. The Step also hit Preston's Adelphi venue on Dec 3. The full gig list includes;-

24th November - with The Rakes + The Paddingtons @ The Mill, Preston

3rd December - with Loose Canon + Silva Surfa @ The Adelphi, Preston

12th December @ The Barfly, Liverpool
