Big Faces set for 12 Bar take off

A new compilation of Preston's best bands and musicians is set to be released at a special launch night, taking place at the 12 Bar on November 27 2004, in which bands featured on the CD will be performing live sets throughout the night.

Entry to the venue will be £2.00 with the 23-song CD, entitled 'The Definitive Burn of the Big Faces', costing a mere £3.00 each. But music fans are encouraged to come early as the CD's are limited edition and latecomers could find themselves leaving red-faced and empty-handed.

Bands confirmed for the evenings entertainment include acoustic ethereals Ivan Campo and punk pop quartet The Clones. Yet to be confirmed are The KBC and The Jackpot Golden Boys, this in addition to a rare DJ appearance from Preston's invisible masterminds - Soundnoir.
