Preston Pop Squad prepare to deliver after firing blanks

Preston Pop Squad again primed for Youth ExplosionThe Youth Explosion gig originally penned for September 17th upstairs @ The Adelphi, is to be rescheduled for sometime in November.

The gig is being organised by local musician Andy Lewis who says that ‘this time it will definitely go ahead.’ The show was previously cancelled at the last minute due to family bereavement and a band pulling out.

Supernova, who were initially on the bill, decided to call it a day and go their seperate ways as univertiy life beckons, causing Frencheryk to step in at the last minute, and The Wooden Soldiers have been shuffling their staff and have a new member, John Malcolmson, on bass.

The finer details of Novembers’ show are yet to be confirmed but the line up will feature five acts and is thought to include:

The Redwings
The Clones
The Wooden Soldiers
Dan Jeoffroy (Acoustic)

Further information or any changes will be provided in the next few weeks.
